It was a great night: the audience was fantastic, the program was great, and the group was tight.

Our Indiegogo campaign has been a resounding success!

A huge thanks to EVERYONE who contributed. We’re sincerely touched by how many people are as enthusiastic about this project as we are.

On October 18th 2011 at 8pm exhAust presents its debut concert at Galapagos Art Space in Dumbo, Brooklyn. This sensational event features new music that has everything – funk, chill, tango, theatre, lyricism, sadness and joy. ExhAust’s mission is to perform Australian concert music in New York City – music that was composed especially for exhAust performers by the younger generation of Australian composers (four of whom will be present). This ensemble features some of the finest performers here in NYC, some of whom just so happen to be Aussie. We’re not just a couple of shrimp on the Bar-Bee, we write and play tunes, so please come and hear us – and meet us!

While Peter is not “technically” an Aussie, we’re proud to bestow upon him the title of Honorary Australian for our ensemble.

Crack open the Fosters*, because ExhAUST makes their debut on October 18th, 2011 at the Galapagos Arts Space in DUMBO!

The night will feature an awesome line-up of the freshest new music talent Australia has to offer, so why not come and check out some cutting edge modern music from some antipodean artists?

*NOTE: No one in Australia drinks Fosters. This is an insidious advertising myth that we use here ironically. Please don’t ask for Fosters at the concert, because having a barman laughing scornfully in your face usually offends.
